Thanks for visiting my virtual house where I share insights, training, resources, information and free tips that help people live a happier and more meaningful life!

I will be talking about the foundations of happiness, as well as the things that make it difficult for us to be happy, which I refer to as the enemies of happiness

From my own experience and decades of encouraging people, I have identified factors that collectively form the pillars and foundations of happiness.

These include, but are not limited to:

Physical wellness

Spiritual wellbeing

Financial wellness

Generosity

The things i love

I'm a clinician, medical educator, life coach, encourager and beloved of God!

I help people live happier and more meaningful lives through daily small practical steps that only take 10 minutes or less

Each of the strategies and practical steps I share are aimed at building or repairing a pillar or foundation of happiness and or confronting and defeating an enemy of happiness.

These are the same strategies and practical steps that have worked for me and countless others for decades. They are tried and tested

I can work with you to design a personalized program focusing on your greatest challenges

Our enemies to happiness are cross-cutting but affect each of us differently depending on our personalities, unique circumstances and vulnerabilities. This means that each one of us likely has a greater need in a particular area of their lives compared to someone else, even for a similar challenge. For example if two people are both unemployed, it's different for someone with a young family or a parent that they are caring for than for someone who is single and has no dependant.

Someone else might have the finances sorted but have broken relationships that they desire to mend or have a toxic work environment.

My program is designed such that you identify, categorize and prioritize which pillars and foundations you need to work on first and you do it at your own pace. We work together to identify which enemies of happiness are hindering you most and come up with a step-by-step personalized program of what you are going to work on and how you will achieve your objectives.

I'm obsessed with..

can't live without

My gadgets! There's so much that I do online, I can't imagine how I used to manage life without them. Check out my story of how I spent 2 years and 5 months without using my new MacBook Pro

binging on sweatless exercise!

Who said you must sweat to be healthy and fit? I have developed a new habit - exercise in my pyjamas, in my room, with my hair pointing in any direction it wants! And I'm loving it!

You don't need special clothes or shoes or to get out of the house before getting some exercise. My joints are definitely happy about it! More about Happy Joints here

for daily self care

In addition to the sweatless exercises, I'm restarting the ketogenic eating plan. It's that time of year when it's so easy to pile on the pounds then start the new year with the usual resolution - to lose weight! With the free keto recipes I have a very happy start. "You can be happy regardless of what's going on around you!"

If you wait for everything to be perfect before you can be happy, you never will! There will always be enough trouble to make one unhappy continually, but we can rise above the craziness and find a way to enjoy our lives.
